Durango

Durango, one of Mexico's largest states, contains the densely forested mountains of the Sierra Madre Occidental to the west and the Bols n de Mapim , the most barren section of the Chihuahuan Desert, to the east. Cattle ranching and timber are two of the major sources of revenue in the region but it is best known for its association with Hollywood and the movies.
